Step 1: Selecting your dream home

Whether you are after a single, double or split level design we have an impressive collection that has been constructed to suit an array of lot sizes with the modern family in mind. Our experienced Sales Consultants are here to answer any of all of your questions and help you select your dream home.

A small deposit will be required to proceed to the tender presentation.


Step 2: Tender Presentation

At your tender presentation you will go through your tender in depth, have all of your questions answered, and lock in your current pricing as well as any promotions and offers. You will also be assigned your Pre-Construction Client Relationship Officer who will guide you through the administrative process and prepare your file for construction. It’s now time to prepare your plans.


Step 3: Sign your HIA Contract

Once you have signed off on your plans it’s time to sign your HIA contract and pay your 5% deposit. Once the contract is signed, no structural changes can be made.


Step 4: Colour selections

Bring your dream home to life in your internal and external colour appointments, adding your personal touches to make it unique. Your Colour Consultant will help you bring everything together and is there to answer all of your questions.

Step 5: Planning approvals

At this stage Elderton Homes will submit your paperwork for BASIX assessment as well as all relevant approving authorities for building approvals.


Step 6: Site Preparation

Once all the building approvals have been received and we have received your authority to commence from your lending body, we will prepare your file for construction.

Step 7: Site Start – its build time!

This is where your dream home comes to life! You will be allocated a Construction Client Relationship Officer and a Site Supervisor who will be in contact with you fortnightly updates on your build. During this time you will also have on-site meetings with your Site Supervisor to walk through your home as it is being built.


Step 8: Time to pick up your keys

You will meet your Site Supervisor on site for a final walk through to complete your quality inspection and handover, you will also be given your keys.

Congratulations on the completion of your new home!


Step 9: 180 Day Warranty

180 days after settlement we will book in a warranty inspection where you can raise any issues that need to be attended to that may have come up in the six months since handover. Once you are satisfied with the completion of work, you will receive confirmation in writing.
